You ever try to ājust fix a few thingsā and suddenly youāre 8 hours deep, crying into your drink, manually creating pages that wonāt save, wondering why your About Me page is called about-me-2, and your homepage is moonlighting as your blog?
Because same. š
I spent my entire day wrangling WordPress. I was trying to:
Set up my homepage (so people actually land on me, not just my posts)
Make my blog page show only posts, not... also me??
Add some cute rainbow/mystical flair šš®
And, you know... not lose my 22 loyal subscribers in the process
What did I get?
š„ A theme that fights me
š„ Posts that appear where they shouldnāt
š„ An āAbout Meā page thatās either blank, locked, or broken
š„ And a whole lotta lessons in patience
But hereās the thing: my posts are live. People can read what I write.
So for now? Thatās enough. Iām calling it a win.
Iāll get the sparkle, layout, and good vibes later. Today was about surviving the backend battle. š
So Iām curious, yāall ā
Have you ever tried to make one small fix and it turned into a full-on tech nightmare?
