Mercury Retrograde Reflections: Health, Life, and Procrastination

Hey everyone,

Here’s a little update on my health and life. If you’ve been following along, you know I’m all about transparency—not just in my personal journey, but in broader aspects like politics and government. While I’m steering clear of that topic today, I wanted to check in and share how things are going.

Overall, I’m feeling good, though I’ve been battling the early stages of a sinus infection. It started Saturday, and while it’s not unbearable, I’ve been taking over-the-counter cold and flu medication to manage the symptoms. My plan is simple: if it doesn’t improve in four days, I’ll book an appointment with my doctor.

Beyond my health, I’ve definitely been feeling some cosmic energies at play. December kicked off with Mercury going retrograde, and Mars soon joined the retrograde lineup. I believe there’s another planet in retrograde too—possibly Jupiter, but don’t quote me on that! What’s fascinating about this astrological cocktail is how it’s all about pausing, reflecting, and planning ahead. Yet, it also brings a wave of self-doubt and procrastination, making us second-guess our abilities and delay important tasks.

This brings me to a topic I’ve been pondering for the last few weeks. I was planning to share my thoughts on it today, but in the spirit of transparency and not feeling my best, I’ve decided to hold off until later in the week. Sometimes, we just have to listen to our bodies and respect the timing of things.

Thanks for being here with me, and I hope you’re all staying healthy and mindful as we navigate this retrograde season together.
